what is emdr therapy?
I have worked with many clients applying EMDR to help them process and heal from trauma and anxiety stemming from unresolved childhood and generational trauma.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based practice designed to help the brain process difficult memories that are stuck in the nervous system. By gently guiding clients through specific eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps reduce the emotional impact of distressing experiences and promotes emotional healing.
